When will the mandatory 2-step authentication take effect and for who?

2-step authentication becomes mandatory for everyone who has the role of administrator in HR Selfservice, regardless of which module (absences, expenses, overtime, personnel file...) you are an administrator for.

However, the vast majority of administrators already have 2-step authentication active on their account, as it was already mandatory for other applications. Therefore, these users will not notice anything and will not have to do anything.

The obligation will take effect from 7 April 2025

Initially only for new administrators, or administrators granted additional administrator rights.

Afterwards, 2-step authentication will gradually be switched on for existing administrators.
