What do I need to do when a person is no longer in service?
Payroll employees
When the employee's contract is terminated in Payroll, this information automatically goes to HR Selfservice Absences and the contract is also closed.
After one month, the employee will no longer be visible and will no longer be able to log in. From then on, you will no longer pay for this user.
However, you can also manage this yourself.
- Go to 'Organisation'.
- Select 'Access rights'.
- Here you can change the access rights for each module. An employee who is leaving the organisation should be set to 'No access'.
You can also change the access rights under 'Employees' > 'Settings'.
External staff (not managed in Payroll)
You can close contracts of external staff under 'Employees'.
- Select the employee from the list on the left.
- Go to 'Settings'.
- Select the 'Contracts' tab.
- Enter the contract end date and save.
You can then make the employee invisible in the application and prevent them from logging in.
- Go to 'Organisation'.
- Select 'Access rights'.
- Set the correct access rights for each employee and module.
You can also change the access rights under 'Employees' > 'Settings'.
