How can I change or delete the role of an employee?
HR Selfservice works with the concept of “roles". A role determines what a user can or cannot do in the application. A detailed description of each role can be found here.
You can also manage an employee's role from the Employee tab > Settings > Roles . The principle is the same but you can only manage one employee at a time.
Edit a role
- Go to Organisation > Roles.
- Find the employee and click the pencil icon next to the role you want to change.
- Update the settings:
- Change modules or departments.
- Adjust advanced settings if needed.
- Click Save.
Delete a role
- Go to Organisation > Roles.
- Find the employee and click the trash bin icon next to the role.
- Confirm the action in the pop-up window.
